I have been terrible at blogging for the last few months, part of it was a move across the country combined with a lack of furniture for my sewing (this situation has since been remedied and I am back to using my machine) and the other part is a new full time job which I am going to share with you now.
A few months ago I applied for a position at Robert Kaufman and I got the job! I am now a Custom Merchandising Project Coordinator for Robert Kaufman. I work for the precut department where I help put together the precuts of new fabrics, create and curate custom projects/patterns for special clients and work with quilters to get samples made.
So far I have designed and written about 5 patterns as well as written the patterns for about 6-7 other projects that I did not personally design. Once the projects are released I do hope to share a little about them on here.
Please be patient with me as I am still getting used to dividing my time between work and home. I hope to get back to posting more frequently here soon! Thanks!
Elise

Wonderful for you. Dividing time is difficult but it will come, take your time, try a couple different approaches. Remember to embrace yourself first. After that, everything else will fall into place.

You are so right Corinne. Thanks for the great advice 🙂
