Remember those fabrics I posted about on Sunday? Well I turned them into a baby quilt using another version of my brick road pattern. Instead of just using rectangles on this version of the quilt I also used some squares to break up the pattern a little. I decided to make another version of this quilt because I am trying to
write a pattern for it. I needed to test the amount of fabric needed as
well as modify it for precuts.
Backing – Sorry for the poor quality |
I currently have a rough outline for the pattern and hope to have a full first draft by the end of the week. I also managed to create a backing for the quilt from left over sashing and some solids from my stash. I am linking up with WIP Wednesday at freshly pieced.
Thanks for coming by. I hope you are having a wonderful and productive day!

It'll be very pretty when it's finished. Seems you have used a low volume fabric for the sashing rather than plain white. This will addd a little more interest to the quilt.
