Hi Guys!
I am back with more custom projects created for Keepsake Quilting. Please note that I designed and wrote patterns for for these projects but I did not personally sew the samples. Also, I am not getting paid to share these nor do I get a commission if someone buys one I just want to share what I have been up to lately.
The first two projects I am sharing were made using the Country Manor fabric by Darlene Zimmerman. I was asked to design a large medallion quilt and possibly some pillow shams using the purple and green color way and below is my final designs If you are interested in any of these kits you can find them on the Keepsake website a link to each kit is included each the caption below the photo.
This was actually one of the first projects I designed when I started at my new job, but I couldn’t share them until now because the catalogue hadn’t been put out until just recently. I was originally dreading this project as the fabrics and colors are so outside of my comfort zone, but I actually love the way this quilt turned out.
The last Keepsake project I can share today is called Cabbage Rose. It is a very simple quilt using the Le Jardin fabric collection by Studio RK.
This quilt features a large center panel of a large scale floral fabric and 4 coordinating borders. Again a collection that I probably wouldn’t have picked for myself, yet I like the soft romantic feel of the finished quilt.
I had to say I have been having a lot of fun designing custom quilts for customers, even the ones that are a outside my comfort zone. I look forward to sharing more projects with you as they are released! Thanks for stopping by.
