This is Aztec Mountains my newest quilt pattern. As you can see it is the quilt I recently made and blogged about here. I am also working on a second version that I shared the layout of and blogged about here (and have more photos coming soon). I was always planning on making a pattern for this quilt especially after the first one turned out so well, and when I got about quite a few emails asking for the pattern I kicked my butt into high gear and got it done.
This quilt pattern comes with 4 size options: Crib (36″ x 48″), Throw (54″ x 72″), Twin(66″ x 84″), and Queen (84″ x 102″). It contains full color diagrams and step by step instructions for creating and laying out your blocks.
The quilt is quarter yard and half yard friendly and works great with small to medium prints. I just love how this ended up and I think it would look beautiful in Black and white (or grey and white) with a pop of color in the diamonds and binding.
The quilt also works with large scale prints as you can see in the progress shot of my Kaffe Fasset version, but unfortunately I think some of the mountains get a little lost, and blend into each other. It is partly the size of the prints and partly how close they are in color, but either way the effect is the same and the edges of some of the mountains are not very distinguishable.
If you are interested in purchasing my newest Pattern it is available for 9.00 in my Shop Section, my Etsy Shop, and my Craftsy Shop.
Thanks for reading!
